Letter: E
"Expletives" Or f****ng
'swear' words. Often uttered, shouted or communicated to a victim or victims
of anti-social behaviour in a taunting, abusive or hurtful fashion. Expletives
can contain many different words to offend, upset, distress or generally
harass in as vulgar a fashion as possible.
Many ASB perpetrators use expletives with little or
no understanding around their true meaning and the recent success of the
BBC Comedy "Little Britain" and their characters such as 'Vicky
Pollard' have undoubtedly increased the available vocabulary of would-be
expletive users.
